MyVault Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 17, 2026 · Applies to: MyVault
1. Information We Collect & Why
All information is provided by you or generated locally. Unless you manually enable iCloud or export files, nothing is uploaded to any server.
- Asset data: names, brands, categories, prices, currencies, cities, channels, story notes, photos, maintenance logs—used to power asset management.
- Preferences: language, theme, currency unit, thousands separators, brand/space/tag toggles—used for personalization.
- Usage traces: import/export history, batch selections, search keywords—kept locally to improve your workflow.
- Diagnostic logs: crash stacks or anonymous usage stats collected only if you grant permission, so we can troubleshoot issues.
2. Device Permissions & Use Cases
- Photo Library: import/save asset photos, attach images to exports.
- Camera: capture photos directly during asset edits.
- Location: auto-fill city fields on dashboards or forms (optional).
- Files (e.g., iOS Files app): import CSV/spreadsheets and export backups.
- Notifications: remind you of maintenance or warranty deadlines (only if allowed).
- iCloud: sync or back up data under your Apple ID when you enable it.
3. Third-Party Services
Apple iCloud: opt-in sync/backup stored in your iCloud account and governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Apple App Store / StoreKit: handles Pro purchases, subscriptions, and restore flows.
Crash or analytics services (if enabled): collect anonymous device info and crash stacks solely to improve stability. They never receive asset content, and MyVault does not mirror the data to proprietary servers.
4. Storage & Security
4.1 By default, everything lives inside the Core Data container on your device.
4.2 When iCloud sync is on, data is encrypted and stored in your iCloud account; MyVault cannot access it.
4.3 We rely on system-level encryption and access control, and recommend keeping regular backups.
5. Sharing & Disclosure
5.1 We never sell or rent your data.
5.2 Data may be shared only with your explicit consent, to enable chosen third-party features (e.g., iCloud), or when required by law/regulators.
5.3 If you export files and share them, you assume responsibility for the shared content.
6. Your Rights
- Access & correction: view or edit all data directly inside the App.
- Deletion: remove single entries or use “Clear Data”; delete the iCloud copy manually if needed.
- Export: create backups for archiving or migration.
- Withdraw consent: revoke photo, camera, location, iCloud, or other permissions anytime in system settings.
7. Purchases & Subscriptions
When you buy MyVault Pro plans through the App Store, Apple processes the payment and provides us only with essential transaction metadata (product identifier, region/currency tier, purchase date, expiration date, refund status). We store receipts locally to verify entitlements, restore purchases, fulfill tax/legal obligations, and troubleshoot subscription issues.
We never see your full card number or billing address; those remain with Apple. Subscription status information is retained only as long as needed to confirm access and comply with regulations.
8. Minors
If you are a minor, use the App with guardian supervision and obtain consent before sharing information.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this policy to reflect feature changes or legal requirements. Significant updates will be announced in-app or via other channels and may require renewed consent.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or complaints, email hi@moodex.cc and we’ll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
