MyVault Terms of Service

Effective date: April 17, 2026 · Applies to: MyVault (the “App” / “Service”)

1. Service Overview

1.1 MyVault is a personal asset console that covers asset intake/editing, brand and space management, batch actions, global search, multi-currency views, analytics, and data import/export.

1.2 All data stays inside the Core Data store on your device by default. If you voluntarily enable Apple iCloud, sync and backup follow your agreement with Apple. MyVault does not run proprietary servers.

1.3 We may enhance or optimize features and will announce major changes through release notes or in-app notices.

2. Account & Usage Rules

2.1 You must have full civil capacity under PRC law. Minors should use the App with guardian guidance.

2.2 Ensure all information you provide is true, accurate, and updated in time.

2.3 Safeguard your devices and credentials; losses caused by improper custody are your responsibility.

2.4 Do not use the Service to violate laws, infringe rights, disrupt system stability, or harm others.

3. User Content & License

3.1 Asset records, photos, and stories you create remain yours.

3.2 You grant MyVault a non-exclusive license to store, display, back up, and process that content only as required to deliver the Service.

3.3 You warrant that you own the rights to submitted content and will bear liabilities arising from disputes.

4. Device Permissions

To power certain features we may request these OS permissions. You can allow or revoke them anytime:

Disabling a permission only affects the linked feature; the rest of the App keeps working.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Apple iCloud: stores data in your iCloud account when you toggle sync, subject to Apple’s privacy policy.

5.2 Apple App Store / StoreKit: handles Pro purchases, restore flows, and receipt validation.

5.3 Analytics / crash SDKs: If we later integrate Google Firebase Analytics or similar tooling, they will only capture crash and usage diagnostics. We will update the Privacy Policy and request renewed consent before activating them. MyVault itself does not upload this data to proprietary servers.

6. Changes, Interruptions & Termination

6.1 Planned maintenance, upgrades, or force majeure may cause downtime. We will notify you when possible and attempt to restore quickly.

6.2 We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or applicable laws, and we reserve the right to pursue liability.

6.3 You can stop using the App at any time or erase data via “Clear Data”. If you use iCloud, delete the data from Apple’s side as well.

7. Disclaimers

7.1 The Service is provided “as is”. We are not responsible for losses caused by network issues, device failures, or third-party outages.

7.2 Asset valuations and charts are informational only and do not constitute investment or financial advice.

7.3 We are not liable for data loss caused by missed backups or misuse.

8. Intellectual Property

The MyVault name, UI, feature modules, and documentation are protected by intellectual property laws. Do not copy or reuse them without written permission.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Disputes should be resolved through friendly consultation; if that fails, submit the case to the competent court where MyVault is located.

10. Subscriptions & Billing

This section serves as the Terms of Use (EULA) referenced in App Store Connect. MyVault currently offers the following plans:

Auto-renewing plans charge your Apple ID at confirmation and renew at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions after purchase. Any free trial converts to the selected plan unless cancelled in time. When we display promotional pricing, the standard price will resume after the promotion period. We may adjust pricing with prior in-app notice, and the App Store will always show the latest amount before you confirm.

We rely on Apple’s secure payment infrastructure and never store your full card data. Transaction history (product identifier, country/region, purchase date, expiration date) is used only to verify entitlements, deliver receipts, handle refunds, and satisfy legal obligations.
